Clubs

Each year the Barbados Tennis Association coordinates the Annual Inter-Club Tournament which has traditionally been an opportunity for all the active Tennis Clubs on the island to get together for competitive tennis and social interaction.

There are 9 competing clubs:

Barbados Yacht Club
Tennis Centre
Ocean View
Paragon Tennis Club
Pure Tennis (first competed in 2024)
Summerhayes Club
University of the West Indies
Windward Cricket Club
International Club of Barbados

The tournament typically attracts the Clubs, each with teams of between 12 and 20 team members, plus supporters.  Matches are played on Saturday afternoons at various venues across the island (home or away matches), typically held from late January to March each year.

The number of juniors playing at the Inter-Club level has increased over the years and is a wonderful opportunity for their greater exposure to different and more seasoned players as well as the comradery and sportsmanship that the older players have developed over the years.

The tournament culminates with the INTER-CLUB FINALS which are held at the National Tennis Centre!
