The Barbados teams of Gavin Hutchinson, Andrew Symmonds and Joshua Worme together with Kiana Marshall, Cherise Slocombe and Symphony Griffith were amongst the twenty-one countries in the boys’ event and fourteen countries in the girls’ event competing in Santo Domingo this week for the final places in the WJTC U14s Qualifying event in Merida, Mexico to be held from 29 April until 1 May.
The winning boys’ and girls’ teams will both face Canada, Mexico and USA for the two available spots at the World Junior Tennis Finals.
